Health Network Alert – Understanding the Duals Special Needs Plan Policy
(08/20/2014) The California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) recently released a new Duals Special Needs Plan (D-SNP) policy impacting beneficiaries residing in counties implementing the Coordinated Care Initiative (CCI). The new policy is complicated and affects beneficiaries enrolled in Medicare Advantage plans differently than beneficiaries in fee-for-service Medicare.
