Affordable Care Act

NSCLC works on a number of issues that are directly related to the implementation of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act or health reform law. In terms of our advocacy, we primarily focus on the parts of the law that affect long term services and supports and dual eligibles. We also are involved in the litigation surrounding the constitutionality of the law.

NSCLC is a vocal champion for the Affordable Care Act, and argued its legal basis in the courts, in policy circles, and in the national media. Read NSCLC amicus briefs related to the ACA and the state challenges to the health reform law.

NSCLC attorneys have authored numerous articles or blogs on the law and have been frequently quoted in the media. See recent news releases. Find media mentions In the News.
