This webinar (the second in a series based on the Advocate’s Library of Managed Long-Term Services and Supports Contract Provisions) examined and discussed how states handle enrollment to and disenrollment from Medicaid managed care long-term services and supports (MLTSS) plans.
Lessons learned in this webinar will help advocates work more effectively with their states to design new or improve existing MLTSS programs.
A wave of new MLTSS programs is sweeping the country and promises to impact the way care is delivered to millions of the nation’s poor seniors and people with disabilities. Whether this impact is ultimately positive or negative will depend on the details of how these new systems are designed, implemented and held accountable.
The webinar helps advocates navigate and make best use of the Advocate’s Library.
